Can sports transcend cultural differences and become a unification tool among people with different backgrounds?
@9LDS3S3 2mos2MO
Sports can become a unification tool for people with different backgrounds, as events like the Olympics brings together people from all across the world to compete with the same passion for the same activities, with spectators cheering and applauding all participants regardless of race or ethnicity.
@9LDRX9K2mos2MO
I believe that nationalism and politics can infect sport and at the same time healthy patriotic competition should be encouraged.
I am all for principled unity but not necessarily a false unity that some international organisations promote. True unity across different backgrounds is found in the Lord as "there is neither *** nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." - Galatians 3:28

How important do you think food is in bringing people together, and could shared meals break cultural barriers?
I think it's a very important factor when it comes to bringing people together because what all countries despite their beliefs, religions, and ethnicities have in common is their love for their food. Food can open new worlds of flavor to the people and can introduce them to their communities and history behind the food that brings the community together as a whole.
@9JM4CDRRepublican4mos4MO
Food is something every human needs in order to survive, using that you can get people to connect, meet, and share cultural and beliefs to each other
