If you are part of the majority and have never experienced discrimination based on your race, it could open your eyes to the real part of the world that still discriminates against minorities. Segregation is still a real world problem in some parts of the world that needs to be fixed and taken actions upon to eliminate it.

This comparison will show that other parts of the world still have rampant racial discrimination, but are not inherently applicable to the USA. Discrimination varies wildly by location even in the USA, so while this might give you some perspective, it cant be used to say this is what its like for a minority to live in the USA.

it would impact everything world wide seeing that there is more of one race than all the others .

Travel abroad helps teach empathy. Racial issues exist to exacerbate class issues as classes cannot organize if they infight.

I feel it would change the perspective of bigots who constantly discriminate against minorities. As much as I believe in treating others with respect, some people should be in eye-opening situations that could change their negative views on others.
