You believe in preserving resources and ecosystems for future generations to ensure a healthy and thriving planet.
Sustainability as a political ideology is a relatively recent development, emerging prominently in the late 20th century. It is centered around the idea of creating and maintaining conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, supporting present and future generations. This ideology is often associated with environmentalism, but it also encompasses economic and social dimensions.
The roots of sustainability as a political ideology can be traced back to the environmental movement of the 1960s and 1970s, which brought attention to the negative impacts of indu…

How would the world change if sustainable practices were a subject taught from kindergarten through high school?
@9JD8WNX4mos4MO
This type of education would provide a better way how people are should prepare themselves for a better future in all aspects of life, so teaching this would be a great for all
@9JD7DTXRepublican4mos4MO
It would teach students the importance of taking care of the place we live in.
@9JD86MT4mos4MO
Kids would be more prone to make different decisions and more factual decisions.
@9JD7K3G4mos4MO
I think it would give kids and teenagers a more clear mind about the world.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How would the disappearance of a species you love affect your views on biodiversity conservation?
@9JD5NJQ4mos4MO
It wouldn’t change anything. We can’t change the natural happenings in Mother Nature. Jesus did it for a reason.
@9JJWSHW4mos4MO
There is always a cycle in the world of nature, species die, more come. lands change the animals adapt or die, and so on and so forth. Yeah we can do something to an extent but in the end what nature wants, nature gets.
@9JD659X4mos4MO
Would show me the government isn’t doing enough for the environment
@9JD67TWWomen’s Equality4mos4MO
It would most likely affect my views. It's not a natural thing if humans are causing it with unnatural manners. I would get more involved in biodiversity conservation if this happened.
@9JD653JConstitution4mos4MO
If we lost tigers I would see the biodiversity conversation as a weak thing. If they are suppossed to protect how are they letting this species go extinct so easily.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How does the concept of 'reduce, reuse, recycle' manifest in your everyday life?
@9L2QLYB2mos2MO
all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy.
@9L2MQPV2mos2MO
I am very supportive of engaging in sustainability to help fight environmental issues
@9L2N8CS2mos2MO
get things that are not just a one time use, like waterbottles.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
If you could travel through time, what period would you visit to observe sustainability practices, and what would you hope to learn?
@9JD8DH84mos4MO
I would visit the Abraham Lincoln era to observe the Civil War, slavery, and everything Lincoln accomplished as the first Republican president.
@9JFBMKF4mos4MO
I think that, even if time travel were a possibility, it would be ill-advised. I also think that we can get plenty of information on Lincoln's actions as president from the internet. If I had to travel back in time, there would be other times I would rather travel to than the Civil War era, as well.
@9JD7Q63Republican4mos4MO
I would want to go back to 1776 to see the Declaration of Independence and learn about it and see all the rights in person.
@9JD7XDQWomen’s Equality4mos4MO
I would go back to like early china or the 1800s to see how they did things and how people reacted in the 1800s to like oil and stuff.
I would visit the 1970s to get a deeper understanding of how different times were then.

How could a popular video game incorporate sustainability issues in a way that's fun and educational?
@9JD6NSZ4mos4MO
Make a video game where you get to choose different things in the world and after you choose something it tells you what would happen and you would have to choose all of the “right” things to finish the game. Make an ideal world so young people have a good idea of the future
@9JD6KD34mos4MO
Take place in a world built on sustainability to show kids how to help
@9JD67Z74mos4MO
make an ideal world of what could be and hope it influences the minds of younger influences
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
If you were to inspire a friend to make one sustainable change, what would it be and why?
@9L2QFF52mos2MO
I would ask my friend to pay more attention to what goes on in the world outside them, especially when it pertains to companies with a long history of polluting the environment, like oil companies.
@9L2Q2322mos2MO
I would inspire my friend to stop leaving the lights on in their room when they aren't there or to turn off the water when brushing their teeth to preserve energy and water.
It would be to stop using unsustainable palm oils because it causes harm to the environment
@9L2P8CW2mos2MO
I would advise the "friend" to recycle and sustain and conserve resources such a as water and electricity by turning them off when they aren't being used.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
If you had to represent sustainability in an art project, what would you create, and what message would it convey?
@9JD8CPQ4mos4MO
i would make a representation of a globe on fire and warn people about climate
@9JD7RLP4mos4MO
I would do recycling, I would love to show everyone how important it is for the community and environment to be in a healthy state not just for humans but for nature and animals
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What is one habit you could change to live more sustainably and why haven't you changed it yet?
@9HGR66RRepublican5mos5MO
Renewable energy. I haven't change because of the cost.
@9HGRZHW5mos5MO
Reduce the use of plastic forks. Plastic utensils are too convenient
@9HGR5GF5mos5MO
I want to use less water, but hot showers are therapeutic.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
What's the most challenging aspect of convincing others to adopt more sustainable behaviors?
@9L2MB5N2mos2MO
They tend to prefer mental stability over sustainability
@9L2KNT62mos2MO
The issue with convincing people to have a more sustainability would be a difficult goal to set amongst a dozen of dis
@9KSBVXG2mos2MO
People think climate change isnt going to effect us and don't realize the impact it has on us and animals now and into our future. People do not take it seriously.
