If you could educate people about one environmental issue, which would it be and why?

 @9JBNJX5 from Tennessee answered…4mos4MO

How little humans are actually doing because compared to other things that happen in nature such as volcanos, humans don't actually do much other than deforestation

 @9JD4D3B from Michigan disagreed…4mos4MO

Compared to natural events humans may have little impact on a case by case but humans have a greatly accelerated impact on the environment through deforestation being systemic rather than an individual system as well as deep sea trawling being organised efforts with little though of ecological consequence. Combine this with the growth of industry and unsafe disposal of waste and humans have an extremely large impact with industries such as agriculture and transportation.

Destroying habitats and ecosystems. We’ve done a lot of damage but let’s try to lessen it going forward.

 @9JBNWRN from California answered…4mos4MO

Plastic Pollution is one major environmental issue because the plastics chokes marine wildlife, damages soil and poisons groundwater, and can cause serious health impacts.

 @9JBNGTQ from Massachusetts answered…4mos4MO

Teach people to stop littering because it’s awful for the Earth and it doesn’t even take that much effort. Just one person not littering can make a world of difference.

 @9J7G3LC from Utah answered…4mos4MO

My vacations should be environmentally friendly or at most most of it is.

Let nature because how it is and try to decrease carbon for nature to get better

 @9J7FDCB from Arizona answered…4mos4MO

Personally I don’t think it changes. A perfect vacation for me does not mean a lot of driving, and I think that the flight, or maybe 2 or 3 flights, have a minimal impact in the grand scheme.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Do you think companies that claim to be eco-friendly are genuine, or is it often just a marketing strategy?

It really depends, we have to really analyze their carbon footprint to determine this.

With the current generations not being able to handle climate change in the future

Climate change is just a power grab by the government based on junk science

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

 @9HHPVCY from Florida answered…5mos5MO

because theyre so used to it and may think disposable things are more convenient

 @9HKBSP5answered…5mos5MO

I think government incentives would be good, but subsidizing a failing venture is not in the publics best interest.

 @9HHPWMNanswered…5mos5MO

I think that some people don't think it will be as efficient but if we show them it can be efficient and eco-friendly then maybe it can change.

Can you remember a moment when you became aware of the environmental impact of your actions, and what change did it lead to?

 @9HX28HNfrom Florida answered…4mos4MO

I maintain my vehicle more closely and have chosen a more fuel efficient vehicle. I also recycle more waste and reuse more than I did previously. I also advocate for packaging that isn't just marketing waste and for containers that are easily reused, such as glass and recyclable metals.
