They have a slim majority and impeachment never helped the party not in the White House politically.

Especially for Democrats.

They don't have to impeach. They can refer the case to the DOJ to prosecute Hunter. They can bar Burisma from doing business in the US or with anybody in the US. They can refer the case to the DOJ to prosecute witnesses for lying to Congress. But they won't do any of that.
