Should critical race theory be taught in K-12 education?
Yes, and also add Intersectionality and the 1619 Project to the curriculum
Teaching kids Critical Race Theory at a young age does more harm than good, since telling children that they are more privilege than someone with a different shade of skin color creates more racial tension among each other, because it doesn't really shine the light since it implies that people of color are need to be handicap to even succeed, instead of working hard, dedication, and perseverance a good example was Obama becoming the first color president, while on the other hand it teaches that anyone that was born white is inherently evil and that their entire country's history is racist. Not only that it will cause more racial minorities to have a "victim mentally" and believing that they are oppressed when in reality they are not. it's like someone demanding that the other person for an apology for something that their great grandparents did nearly a century ago which on its own is kinda absurd to think about since the white people are expect to be held accountable just because of their own "Skin Color" for actions the had no control over before they were even born. For what I personally believe teaching CRT on students will just further the racial divide even further than we already have today from what I think that schools should be not be politically biased on what they teach. welp that's just my take on this whole issue.

Rather, it examines how systemic and institutionalized racism impacts society and individuals. It's more about understanding the historical context and its impact on the present day, not about assigning blame to individuals today for what their ancestor… Read more
