Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is accusing the government of India of involvement in the fatal shooting of a Canadian Sikh leader — a claim that will have seismic effects on an already shaky bilateral relationship.

Colour me very sceptical, opsec isn't exactly a strong point of Indian intelligence. Overseas assassination is something Delhi usually does not do (ambiguous because it has done few in Pakistan).
Anyway those want to believe it would believe and those that don't won't.

Then it *is* something India does. IDK anything about India’s opsec, but Canadian intelligence did attribute the killings to India, presumably with some basis more than motive.
You can’t point to foreign government attributing a killing to a country as a *success* for opsec
