Actually, yes, it is very different. In the womb, the fetus/baby is actively using, and relying on, the body of the mother, whereas a baby that is already born is not. As such, the mother has every right to decide who can or cannot use her body, for any or no reason, even if doing so means killing them. No person, even a baby, has the right to use another person's body without their constant consent.
