As previously stated: I believe a good start to gun control reform would be in freezing the manufacturing of new firearms. Additionally, we should implement a firearm tax for gun owners, per gun, to help disincentivize gun ownership in the first place, and to help fund things like gun safety programs. We should also massively increase our regulations on gun purchases by requiring strict background checks, training certifications, and insurances for different classifications of firearms, which must be completed before obtaining any gun of each classification tier.
