Terrorism is not good, but Israel has been doing terrorism for the past century.

 @9G6DQJG from New York commented…7mos7MO

Israel has begun an "ethnic cleansing" on Palestine and it must be brought to the worlds attention

 @9G6M6K6 from Washington commented…7mos7MO

Israel is doing the right thing.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…7mos7MO

The active genocide of the Palestinian people is not "the right thing" by any means.

 @9G6D2WD from Pennsylvania commented…7mos7MO

It’s terrible that this bs is still happening. The Jews were there first

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…7mos7MO

No one has the inherent right to land, and that still doesn't justify the violent colonization of the Palestinian people.

A conflict where the lives of innocent civilians are lost is unjustifiable.

 @9G64ZFWProgressive from Texas commented…7mos7MO

I dislike how the Palestinians have been treated by Israel. While Hamas has ruthlessly murdered civilians, the blame ultimately rests on the shoulders of Israel, which has forced the Palestinians into a corner.

 @9G64LM3 from Louisiana commented…7mos7MO

They are making a border and stopping the Palenstain people from hurting innocent kids.

 @9G5PC8Q from Florida commented…7mos7MO

isreali citizens do not deserve to die and it is not Israel vs. Palestine its now civilian against terrorists and that is not ok.

 @9G5KTYD from Florida commented…7mos7MO

Our country needs to work more on showing the true situation. Most news sources only support Israel and the attacks on its "territory", while they should be looking at the fact that one attack by Israel kills far more people in Gaza than one in Israel because Gaza is so populated.

 @alkeefeCommunist commented…7mos7MO

Israel has been committing endemic colonial violence against Palestinians, who have tried violence, non-violence and doing nothing - all three of which make their situation worse. This vitriolic nihilism is what led to the rise of the jihadist death cult of Hamas. Initially, Israel propped up Hamas so as to co-opt support away from the PLO and internationalist revolutionary consciousness, and instead redirect it to nihilism and racism.

We end up with a situation where Gazans go out on an appalling blatant suicide mission, callously slaughtering innocent civilians instead of uniting with them to topple the regime, and giving Israel the excuse to annex the Gaza Strip and displace it's population - which I believe will be the inevitable outcome of the war.

Each side is typically represented only with modern-day perspectives at the extreme end of the spectrum. More focus should be placed on the history of the region & the conflict when discussing it, with the modern-day focus being largely on the suffering of bystanders caused by failures of leadership on both sides.

The terror of the hamas attacks unfortunately will only escalate tensions in the middle east. A ceasefire should be agreed on with a pact from all middle eastern countries involved.

 @9G6KGZC from Missouri commented…7mos7MO

I think that I hope this feud/war ends soon so that no one I know has to be deployed there

 @9G6GHCF from California commented…7mos7MO

While many Israeli civilians were killed and taken captive, Pakistani civilians should not face horrible conditions in response.

It has the potential to turn into an even bigger more wide spread conflict

 @9G5LK39 from Virginia commented…7mos7MO

both are terrorists and the situation could easily spark international war

 @9G5LH8V from Texas commented…7mos7MO

The Palestinian people have been persecuted by Israel for decades, and tensions have finally boiled over.

 @9G5K2SH from North Carolina commented…7mos7MO

I honestly think by Gaza attacking Isralei it brought more light to the situation of Palestine and how these countries are all fighting for the same thing land for their people.

 @9G5J9V3Republican from New York commented…7mos7MO

Palestine and Israel should work towards a peaceful resolution. War is not the answer.

It shows a positive story in politics and international affairs, unlike the US's usual sad stories over things political
