If opponents of Critical Theory (of any kind) see any valid reason to discredit the insights which it yields about the ongoing feedback loops within the background of our existing system and how we might impact them, then they ought to fight this battle within academia, to proper academic standards. We have tons of peer-reviewed, tightly controlled research with proper evidencing that backs up multiple theories about how racism is systemically perpetuated. The theorists have very comprehensively done their part and the onus is now upon their critics to find fault on that academic level - which of course they never do, which is why academic consensus is where it is.
Children will grow into the intellectuals and the statespeople of the future. Race in America is clearly one of the most important subjects in social discourse right now. Let them know where the academic consensus is on the issue (just as we educate them on current scientific consensus) and what they can do either to help further our understanding of such systems, or how they can work to disestablish condemned institutions. That's literally what education is for - getting the next generation up to speed on current consensus so that they can engage with the subject matter of their predecessors, either in further academic study, or in their work or activism.
