The market's only "desire" is to make profit; anything that is not profitable, or less profitable than an alternative, will not be supported by the market. The market does not care about climate change, nor does the market care about any of the negative consequences that anything it produces has on society. It is a terrible and anti-democratic means of organizing a society's economy.
