If someone murders someone, you want justice. Most agree that killing the individual that committed the crime would be just as wrong, as you would be depriving him/her of her future life, would cause grief to the family, and just knowing murder is not the answer sways many. But they don't stop to think that killing the unborn is the same as murder.

Because it's not the same thing at all. Another easy example: if someone is assaulting you, and you shoot them in self-defense, and they die...is that murder justified? Most would obviously argue yes, it is justified because they violated you and you have the right to stop them from continuing to do so, even if it means killing them. Abortion is largely the same. If a fetus is using your body against your consent, then you have the right to stop it from continuing to do so, even if that means killing it, because your right to bodily autonomy means that you decide who can or cannot use your body. After all, no one's right to life entitles them the right to use your body against your consent.
