Why does the US still have those military bases in Syria and Iraq?

Simple: to keep the American people safe, by providing a bunch of big fat American targets for drone strike reprisal in the event that some Israel-related conflict starts to pop off in the Middle East

I wondered why Biden moved tanks to Syria, aside from the fact he loves going to war.

Now that he and Netanyahu have enraged the world, surely all their dreams will come true.

One of the bases is even called "Conoco". But no, I have no idea what they are doing there. Maybe enjoying the fine weather?
