Should the government raise the federal minimum wage?
This only compounds current inflation and incentivized companies to pay the minimum to employees, a wage should be agreed upon between employer and business there should not be a minimum wage or government intervention. That’s not to say someone is going to work for 2$ an hour that just wouldn’t fly today, but allows employees to garner a livable wage an negotiate for something more than what that minimum would be.
If it’s raised now we’ll have the same convo in the next 10 years. Why not make the minimum a 100$ an hour?? This is all apart of a bigger need to get the FED and government out of the monetary supply so money is not wasted and a true free market can operate which we currently do not have.
