This is fundamentally counter-productive to the idea that critical race theory wants to teach. They want to teach that people of all races are equal. So instead of telling students that white kids have advantages over black kids, just shut up about it and treat everybody the same way.

None of what you just said is anything that CRT is meant to be about. CRT is simply a model of analyzing history/law through the lens of race and how racism affects the way things were and are today. It's just about teaching critical analysis skills when understanding how social constructs, like race, affect change throughout history.
