Although slavery was a very big problem in history, there is no evidence to back up the accusation that the laws and institutions fundamentally benefit one race over another. For one thing, there was a constitutional amendment that made the discrimination of people upon the base of race illegal. If you want to end racism, then stop letting racism stop you from doing what you want.
