Nothing can defend the atrocities that Israel is committing against Palestine, they have broken International rules when it comes to war, one being using white phosphorus on a large group of civilians. I don't understand how this is being overlooked.

Israel has the right to defend itself. Each instance of violence has its own context, and in some cases, Israel has responded to attacks launched from urban areas, putting civilians at risk. As for the claim about white phosphorus, it's a serious accusation and if true, it should be thoroughly investigated by international bodies.
