Can capitalism truly provide freedom of choice for consumers, or does it end up creating illusions of choice with big companies dominating markets?

I do believe that capitalism in itself is something good for the our country and for the economy, however I do believe that some people miss use the power they get from it and that along with over use should be controlled.

I think purely ideologically capitalism can give a consumer freedom of choice. However with current regulations and practices, oligopolies give you an illusion of choice.

No. Capitalism has failled society and corporate consolidation has irreparably damaged our nation. All big conglomerates MUST be split up as they were 100 years ago.
