It is wrong for the state to suspend his gun license sense he used it for self-defense and it goes against the second amendment.Overall he was using his gun to defend him and his family, he most likely did not plan on hurting the other person.

It is both prudent and morally justifiable to limit one's access to firearms while they are being investigated for a crime.

No, because they were being harmed and attacked so they used their guns to defend them. So I believe they shouldn't.
