Yes, my male friend was very upset and crying, while my female friend judges him saying men aren't supposed to cry.

yes i slipped and fell right in front of my mom and hit my head really hard and if i show emotion she would have thought i was week

Yes. My friend is a man who believed for the last 28 years of his life that men shouldn't need emotional support and other similar opinions because that is what was taught to him.
