When the U.S gets attacked by some foreign power or organization (I.E Japan and Al-Qaeda), everyone in the U.S decides to put away their differences and fight whoever attacked them.

Look at 9/11. While at first majority of America wanted to attack back, it lead to a huge divide within our country because of conspiracy theories not to mention the false war it started.

I love my country even if we do some horrible things. I have in many cases expressed how I am proud to be an American because of the rich diversity and culture!
