In general, I would rather have a quality item that would last longer and work better than saving by getting something less expensive, however, that is not always possible or realistic. Additionally, with the prices of EVERYTHING increasing, it is even more difficult to invest in quality.

I think it is important to decide on whether this is an item that I need or if it is not. Also how good is the quality item that I am purchasing or if it is something that doesn't necessarily need to be high quality?
