That's your opinion – and I'm watching to hear another opinion

You’ll only ever hear that from those he’s propagandized, and those who stand to gain from him. He’s not a good person, I know the stuff that organizations like the KGB do, and it’s far worse than anything most American agencies inflict, all for less crime.

Are you talking about Tucker or Putin? If Putin, I agree with you, he's a bad person. So what's your issue? That I want to hear what someone I disagree with has to say? Why is that a problem for you? Are you afraid the people who watch will discover something they're not supposed to know?

I’m not saying it’s a problem, my thought process for what you mean by an alternative opinion is one of supporting Putin, so from Tucker’s perspective, no, I don’t have a problem with it, though I just consider him a douchebag as a News host, I have no problem with hearing what the guy has to say. If anything, it would just prompt me to strengthen my argument.

hear what someone I disagree with has to say

The crux of the matter seems to be the credibility of the source rather than the diversity of opinion. Putin, for instance, has a well-documented history of propagating misinformation. One glaring example is his repeated denial of any plans to invade Ukraine, which clearly proved to be propaganda lies. There's a distinction to be made between hearing a differing viewpoint and entertaining propaganda from a notorious fabricator who wants to take everything you have. When you receive a call from someone who is clearly a spam thief, do you take the time to "hear them out" about all the reasons you need to immediately initiate a wire transfer?

That's a false equivalence. There's a vast difference between me carrying what stupid scammer has to say and me carrying what the leader of the largest nation on earth has to say. As an inhabitant of this planet, I have strong reasons to care about the latter, and so do you, regardless of whether you see them or not. You're watching too many Nikki Haley rallies.
