I think conflict will always exist but the form that takes will not always be war, it could be more diplomatic as our world and human race becomes more united through unions such as the united nations.

Humans in different nations will always want to take what they don't have, a period where war is obsolete may arise, but it won't last, it will end in war to take what a country wants to be their's, Russia trying to take Ukraine is a prime example.
