What would you do if a historical place significant to your cultural or religious identity were at risk?

The concept of "Religious Zionism" involves colonization so I think it is important that we do not kick people out of their homes just because my religion says that I should live in a certain place. We can look at this through Israel's occupation of the Gaza Strip and the horrors committed against the Palestinian people in instances such as the "Nakba" in 1948. People should have the right to escape persecutions for their religious ideas but not at the cost of others.
