I think the national anthem is racist and it should be freedom of choice.

"Freedom of choice" and "freedom to disobey the rules and traditions of the team you VOLUNTARILY AGREED TO PLAY FOR" are two very different things.

I personally feel that we have free will and we are free to do whatever you want but I'm a traditional person so for me in a competition and if I come in first place then I will listen to the national anthem and pledge allegiance to the flag.

not everyone wants to do the national anthem for a variety of reasons so they should be allowed to express themselves how they want.

Personal choice and routine should be an individuals own freedom, a tradition is something someone can involve themselves in.

I feel that, as American citizens, we have and hold the right to freedom of personal choice and routine.

Personal choice and routine is a 1st amendment right and tradition shouldn’t be forced onto anyone, especially the pledge of allegiance in schools which has a religious aspect to it
