Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?
But I believe assault weapons should be banned/bought back, despite their recreational use and defense use. They cause far too much carnage in this country, at an unprecedented rate relative to other wealthy nations across the globe.

No, assault weapons should not be banned. The only reasons why we have mass shootings is because of irresponsible use by people who shouldn't have guns.
