Which political ideology do you most identify with?
How does the language or dialect you speak at home connect you to your cultural identity?
I haven't thought about what it means to me because everyone I know speaks it. I know language is power, and I wish I was good at learning languages because I want to talk to people and understand their life and experiences just how I could do it. In terms of cultural conservatism, I would say that the whole ideology doesn't have a stable argument, seeing as American Culture is a combination of Irish, German, English, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Scandinavian, Western African, Central American, and etc. cultures. Allowing people to speak their languages and share their culture with the always changing American culture is how this country has been, and trying to stop them has been equally tried and equally failed.
