Most every other developed nation on earth fully agrees that the electoral college is weak and unnecessary. It was necessary before, but we’re 50 states and 300 million people, an electoral college loses its purpose when the power of a small state exceeds that of the vote of someone from the other states.

Which is totally irrelevant. You're using the Faulty Appeal to Authority Fallacy – the opinions of the majority of nations have nothing to do with the merits of the electoral college and add nothing to any logical discussion about it.

It is VERY relevant, they look down upon our system because they’ve moved away from it as they progressed. Britain ranks the electoral college as one of the worst systems, and that’s because it undermines the concept of the popular vote in general, and destroys the concept of “one vote, one person”, as votes in smaller states with little to no bearing on everyone else have the same voting power as massive populations of people who have a lot of stock on who wins. It’s worth giving a dang, it doesn’t even do it’s actual job anymore, it doesn’t protect small states and give state’s power, it gives swing states with more vote power, and that does nothing for representation of anyone, it just completely screws itself up the more states there are, and we’re now 50 STATES.
